Vintage 1960’s Inspired Beach Engagement

Long Island in the summer is such a great place to be.  So when my cofounders of Foster & Flourish and I were working on project ideas, we thought we’d highlight the beautiful north shore beaches of Long Island, New York.  Bonnie, Jessica and I planned our first Film Photography workshop and I was hosting it!  I was excited and nervous at the same time.  I was nervous because I’ve been shooting weddings and lifestyle portraiture with digital cameras for most of my years in the industry; And I was excited because I’m loving every minute of the process of fine art film photography!  To read the full post about my experience head on over to the Foster & Flourish blog.

Here is the backstory of this beautiful engagement session: Virginia & Johnny spent their summers at the beach, walking hand-in-hand and enjoying countless sunsets.  When Virginia went to study art in Paris for six months, Johnny sent her postcards and love letters, when he wasn’t building a cabana for her.  This is what happened when they met at the beach shortly after sunrise…

Special thanks to everyone who was a part of this experience and brought life to our vision.
